We encourage and harvest support for the local butcher through our marketing initiatives both regional, national and international. We’re the largest representative body for all butchers and as a result we influence customers to recognise butchery as a true “vocational craft.”

  • Documented food safety system is properly implemented and maintained

  • Allergen matrix maintained for your menus

  • Validation and Verification of record keeping

  • Advice on maintenance, traceability, hygiene, cleaning, stock rotation and training

  • Nutritional Information for your menu HACCP review/internal auditing

  • Training of staff on food safety procedures and protocols

  • Support and advice for FSA Food hygiene rating systems (NI) to provide improvement in scores

Award in Supervising Food Safety and Hygiene (Level 3)

This course is ideal for those individuals who operate in a supervisory role in the workplace, including managers and chefs.

Foundation Certificate in Food Safety (Level 2)
